From father to daughter and niece

Founded by Mark Lizotte in 1996, L'escompte is a family business located in the heart of downtown Edmundston. This retail business specializes in the sale of items of all kinds at affordable prices. Having the needs of its community at heart, the company opened a second part in 2015 to offer food products.

In 2023, L'escompte changes hands but remains in the same family. Having worked as a social worker for 16 years, Julie Lizotte decided to follow in her father's footsteps and acquire the business.

Her cousin, Donna Pitman, also joined the adventure after having worked for 20 years as a care worker in a residence for the elderly in the region. Two entrepreneurs who have only one objective: to offer quality service by having products in inventory that meet the demands and needs of their customers.
